Hexagonal Sapphire Ring
Artist: Eli Speaks
This distinctive piece, crafted in 18c white gold, combines an art deco aesthetic within a bold modern design. The jeweller was inspired by qualities of the central sapphire which has been cut in a modern hexagonal shape, with minimal faceting and a high crown, which is reminiscent of ‘old mine cut’ diamonds. This stone, a Queensland parti sapphire cut in central Victoria by Paul Fenselau, showcased in a grain/illusion style setting, with smaller white diamonds grain set on either side. The design also features a 2.7mm wide half round band and a polished finished. This ring is size N.
