Freeform Chrysoberyl Ring
A contemporary design in 18c yellow gold that showcases a unique composition and stone. When viewed from above the bezel set chrysoberyl acts as a window, which reveals a delicate arrangement of gold granules beneath. These elements are perfectly balanced to create an elegant silhouette. The flat profile band is 2.1mm wide. The overall finish of the piece is matte, and the inside of the band has been given a fine polish. This ring is size N.
The yellow chrysoberyl was cut in central Victoria by Paul Fenselau and originates from South East Asia. The stone’s freeform cut ensures minimal wastage of the rough material. The shape of the natural crystal determines it’s final form, which also ensures that no two are ever the same.
